What We Built
This 8m x 2.75m compact one-bedroom annexe demonstrates how much can be achieved in a narrow footprint. Finished in striking black composite cladding, this sleek garden building includes a fully-fitted kitchenette with sink, storage cupboards and integrated fridge, a comfortable bedroom, and a complete shower room with toilet and vanity basin.
The exterior features anthracite grey uPVC windows and French doors, complemented by stylish exterior wall lights that create a warm ambience in the evenings. The linear layout makes efficient use of every inch of space, with internal doors connecting the kitchenette, bedroom and shower room.
Inside, oak-effect laminate flooring runs throughout the main living areas, while the shower room features contemporary grey tile-effect flooring and walls. The shower enclosure includes a chrome heated towel rail for added comfort. Full electrics with recessed LED spotlights provide excellent lighting throughout.

How we approached this project
The compact 2.75m depth required careful space planning to fit a kitchenette, bedroom and shower room in a linear layout. We maximised every inch with smart storage solutions and ensured proper plumbing connections for the kitchen sink, shower and toilet.
